SS Officer's M43 cap w/ two-piece insignia

Hey Mauro.

I was speaking in general, i have no comments about this cap exept that he will get a hard time selling it when the time for selling it comes, that you can probaly agree with me on.

I do agree with you on the pics kontra handling in hand though, i have seen many pictures of items and in hand its a whole different cap.

No problem Daniel, your name here is important and topic could gone to a way. This cap was bought and we must consider it. Officier ss m43 imo is the one of worst items to judge from pic.

I have German gabardine that looks almost identical to the Italian made material, but they feel different and the inside nap is different.

I really like the tricot you posted, Tony. Most of what I'm familiar with that's made from that material is GJ army, but I've seen good examples posted and in references that are SS.

Thanks Robert. That cap, which is a private purchase example, is probably the furthest you can get from a textbook cap. Bright yellow rayon lining, full leather sweatband and double grommets. You can see it on my website. I've had some good offers for it...

I have to agree with Mauro - officers M43 caps are rarely textbook.
