    Here is another hat I got years ago. It is well made, but there is something about the material I have bad feelings about. So any input will be appreciated.

            quality of the material is what we see on modern repros...too fluffy...new thread...no patina....even mint original ones dont look so fresh..maybe am wrong but by the pics i dont like it...

                That is what concerns me

                The hat has been worn because of sweat marks on the inside fabric so at least it was worn in a reenactment, movie, or Halloween party. Yes that what concerns me too, the fluffy wool which has some reddish tinge. It is always good to get input from the forum-thanks.
