This is a familiar cap - both stamp and construction. I haven't see one this worn yet....

Well here are photos I have. when I asked guy who was selling it to send me photos of front of cap and eagle and he said NO ( so for me it is very suspicious ).Comment

Sure looks to be a good one with removed soutache. He may not want to send eagle photo if through an Ebay type deal. If he has a return policy I would give it a try

And might I suggest you do a closer comparison with the Original (Collector's Guild) vs reproductions (in the hat shown in this thread and post #10) markings.

This stamp has been seen on some fakes for sure, but always in size 60 & with the 21 in the lower box. The good LAGO caps have a similar stamp but in different size(s) and a different number in the lower box. Would still like to see better photos of this cap but its not looking good imo. & what about those grommets ?Comment
