Thanks
Thanks Bob, as I said I am new to visors - and it shows!
As a point of interest, looking at the stamps inside the sweat-band I am wondering if "Kdtr" (there is also something indecipherable and then what looks like "av" ?) is an abbreviation for Kommandantur (Commandant's Office ?), and if Horst-Komp indicates Horstkompanie which according to one reference I found elsewhere (Axis History Forum) is a company that "runs and maintains an air-base" (Air-base - Fliegerhorst in German). Would be nice to know which airbase it was originally issued at in 1936!
