M43 EM KM cap for review

Thanks for the pics Mayer. Nice cap! Is there a thread on M43 KM's on the WAF anyway? Couldn't find it.

I don't know, I think you have to go in the KM sections to have a look for something's like these! I like your a lot, yes maybe a little different from mine, but the style and shape are very similar, you got a very nice cap

Paukenshlab, nice cap, not one of the usual makers that you can find in M43 KM caps but really like it.


I would like to see better pictures of mayer's cap, IMO eagle is not original, so with that style of stitching I have doubts about the cap.

The colour of this M43 KM is similar compared to WH caps. Here together with an M43 WH cap.

Your KM cap is a very nice untouched original with factory sewn insignia. The color of the cap is fine. What does your friend say is wrong with this cap?

Although he is convinced on the originality of the construction he stated that M43 KA caps are made of a more dark green cloth. Its a theory that KM KA cloth, in particular caps, are made from a more dark green cloth. IMHO there isn't any difference between WH Heer and WH Kriegsmarine Küstenartilleriecloth. The only differences in colour are related to year of production and/or maker.
