    Thank you very much for helping.Here is a last shot from the eagle.I see nothing reapplied around the eagle,but as said before i am not an cap expert,i am a dagger and sword collector.Is it better to leave this one,then i will do this,although it was a good part in my collection!
    Should i send it back to the seller ?

      Can you take close wiews of inside grommets, and check if there is any evidence of a soutache appliation, for instance behind flaps ?
