Petzsche & Oelkers : Anyone Have Anything by This Maker?

I believe Oelkers existed, but I have not seen anything yet that I believed real from this maker.

    For example:

Assuming from the post, Petzsche Oelkers is a known wartime maker but these two examples are bogus?

First one is bogus. Regarding the HG, I cannot recall where those pics came from, and I would need to see more of it before giving a final opinion.

Coincidently I have that hat in hand as part of a collection I've been offered!

Andrew, I may be in a minority here, but I like what I see so far.
However, the cap should have a leather chinstrap and black buttons.
(It is possible that he was an officer aspirant, but the cords seem too short for the hat).

Can we get some under the hood shots?

I am probably still in a minority, but I like it...

I may be the minority one, but I don't like it. To me, it has more characteristics of "perfect copies" than originals...

Here's a bit on that address from the 1950 Adressbuch der Halle:

96 DKMZ Deutsche Kraftstoff- und Mineralölzentrale (Vorläufer von MINOL) Personalabteilung und allgemeine Verwaltung, E. Gebel Damenschneiderei, R. Heinze KG Tabakwaren, Petzsche & Oelkers Putzgeschäft

Looks like they were some sort of (dry?) cleaning concern after the war.

I'm with Arran, for me it's like a typical fake.
I think Hüsken has some fakes like this type on his site.
For me it's not a cap make before 1945.

I did a Google search on Petzsche & Oelkers, and found a listing of businesses in Halle, circa 1941. P & O is listed at 96 Leipziger Strasse as a "putzgeschaft", which translates to a store or seller of detergents.

Anyone have a phonebook from Halle from 38-45 to confirm it was a dry cleaning company? Marcello?
