this cap seems textbook with really good machine sewn insigna but something doesn't run.

I would see real colour in natural light,
i would check thread and see difference of it in exposed and not exposed area
i would see if the sewn show some "errors" (point of sewn missing)
i would see sewn of flaps on the visor

and so on.

Guys, Thanks for your comments.

Forgot to mention that the cap is very GREEN, not blue as the flash images unfortunately show.
It also has a 'hard' feel to it that old woolen caps tend to have and a 'musky' smell to it.

And Emiel, its ridiculous to jump on the "bad" bandwagon if Lenny post anything negative.

Theres too many basing their opinions on others reputation killing original items in the process.

This W-SS M-43 Einheitsmutze is just fine , flash pics can distort color otherwise nothing wrong with this one
