Yes, they are both 57....., thats the only similarity they have.
Now if we look at how the numbers look , there is big diffrence, just compare the 5 between them.

Its a great cap.

In my opinion, nothing. Its a textbook original IMO!

My knowledge concerning M43 caps is very limited. But let me add that I have no doubt that period stamps/fonts are being used in fake items. Means that if a type of stamp has been used for a fake cap it may very well appear on an original and in that case is a perfectly fine stamp. That of course is a dilemma and is not to be confused with "fantasy" stamps that you will only find in fakes.

Apart from that, I have to agree with member Daniel S. that the stamp seems to look different and also with Ian about the insignia.
