Now that is an interesting foto, not only because of the Bergmütze, but two of the soldiers seems to be wearing camo GJ anoraks made of italian camo cloth, possibly with only two front pockets. Also the chap in the background seems to be handling some italian camo-cloth, perhaps a Zeltbahn?

Do you by any chance have an idea of time, place and GJ-unit?

They are either mountain customs troopers or mountain policemen or both together...nice picture!

Zollgrenzschutz Aufsichtsstelle G Kronau (Kranjska Gora) during some anti-partisan sweep along the Isonzo-Valley (notice the old italian royal mail box), 1944\1945.
All of them are Zollgrenzschutz men, no Polizei or Gebirgsjaeger neither.
