The Göring m43 didn't sell at the last Thies auction, i believe it started at around 40k, no bids as far as i know.

i know exactly who you are talking about and it would not suprise me at all and ill ask some citizens who i know that work for him, he has some stunning stuff already that ive been lucky enough to see some of from ww1,2 and the movies.

you are correct pj is into more in ww1 stuff but he is like a magpie and collects a lot of anything from the merc from raiders of the lost ark to the orgional planet of the apes uniforms etc etc , a massive red baron collection and heres a link to his n.z museum and its in blenheim and very very worth a visit for those who visit n.z.
anyway with a bank roll of $580,000,000 he can buy what ever he wants...sign if only......

And also, like Chris said, just a sublime piece of headgear. The ultimate, as far as I'm concerned. But then again, I'm a Luft guy. I have no idea how much a commensurate condition/provenance Hitler visor would bring nowadays.
