Here a tricky M43 cap I have obtained recently
IMO,this one is very late war produced and original.
The green lining is close to this "statnized" type sold by collector guild:

At first glance,I thought the lining was removed,but I can't find any traces of it in the internal stitching of the top...
I suppose, like it's often the case in the late war manufactured M44 jacket (skeleton lining),
the reason could be a simplification of production / material economy??
There is a name in the cloth band inside.
No bias,nothing to make more rigid the cap inside.
I will be happy to share your opinions about this cap!!
