    M43 Waffen-SS Single button/gabardine

    Hi to all,

Here a tricky M43 cap I have obtained recently
IMO,this one is very late war produced and original.
The green lining is close to this "statnized" type sold by collector guild:
    http://www.germanmilitaria.com/Waffe...s/S002162.html

At first glance,I thought the lining was removed, but I can't find any traces of it in the internal stitching of the top...
I suppose, like it's often the case in the late war manufactured M44 jacket (skeleton lining),
the reason could be a simplification of production / material economy??

There is a name in the cloth band inside.
No bias, nothing to make more rigid the cap inside.

I will be happy to share your opinions about this cap!!

the write name is Czech or Slovak. I suspect it came from Czech republic. Seen some of these last months.
question ; where this made only for SS or for army also ?
