maybe post the cap in the ss forum for me a coa is a worthless piece of paper
Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

The COA is secondary.........the visor has "issues" Let's see the cap frame.

Chinstrap for me also looks to be a repro, and black paint on visor looks a little strange.. like a touch up. (pic 9)

As for COA's in general ! thats another story.

I have no problem with the originality of the EM's chinstrap itself. Does the COA mention that the cap had repro insignia on it at the time?

I agree - a COA from any of those German dealers is worth nothing. I doubt they would know an SS visor cap if it jumped up and bit them. Actually I should add most dealers so I'm not just singling out the German ones.

Looks like a Frankenstein to me. At a quick glance, I don't like the worn crumpled sweatband paired with a new looking lining with horrible pleats, and a likely repainted visor. Plus that chinstrap has already been pointed out.

                      Save your money.........

Well, it clearly had insignia on it when the COA was issued, and I can't imagine anyone removing original insignia from a cap they believed to be original, so...fake insignia does no bode well for the cap and it also proves that the CAO is good only as toilet paper! Can we see the pic that shows the insignia, please?
