    Hg m-43?

Well...here are a few photos which may be enough for those in the know to judge. I was sent this one to look at with no strings attached, so nothing invested. I can take more photos if needed. Seems to have only the size stamp as markings. There is bias material on the ear flaps behind the fold over. Thanks!

Based on the photos, not one I would touch.

Lets not jump to conclusions without all the facts. Richard is it possible to see some images of the "key" areas with the flaps down ???

Hard to say more at this stage but I am looking forward to being able too

              Chris,
based on those photos, you can pretty much jump top that conclusion. No other facts needed.

Interesting if nothing else and good for reference then again ???

                  Chris,
I am not telling you not to discuss it (just please don't go ad neuseam crazy like in that other thread). I am just saying don't tell me not to jump to conclusions. I don't like the wool, the lining, the insignia, markings, fake soiling, etc.

I could entertain a doubt, period!

The eagle is a known reproduction. Und so!

                            2. The lining and pull down straps are a heavy ribbed rayon that I have seen in a few vet pick up caps.
