I was a customer of "Unique Imports" as well. I had an "Afrika Corps" tan helmet with the fake palm tree insignia on it topped off with a set of the goggles. I sold it on ebay about 10 years ago in the reproduction section and was quite surprised that the auction got bid up to almost 250 USD! Thanks for showing the ad and brochure, brought back some great memories of being a kid with a dream of collecting militaria.

            goggles

They were British goggles quite popular with German troops many pictures of them in wear in North Afrika. I too had a pair from Unique imports. I have read they were probably some of the Captured British equipment. timothy
