            It is very difficult to decypher the maker's name, but there is a chance he had his office in ALT RUPPIN. I've tried a search but without positive results. So, I repeat my call for WAF german members who could have access to a period adressbuch of Neuruppin/Alt-Ruppin.

              Looks like a nice cap . With the name ID, try different lighting as well as angle techniques, this may help to get one letter at a time. Best of luck.

                I appreciate everyone's responses. I'll experiment with different lighting and settings on my camera and with any luck, more of the lettering will be visible.
