    Panzer Officer's Visor

This arrived today from Gailen David. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

I can't make out the maker of this cap as the writing under the sweat shield is a bit worn. The cap is made of a beautiful doe skin material and there are only two small moth nips in the piping. The wear to the exterior as well as the interior of cap is minimal but consistent with 60 plus years of age. The eagle, wreath and cockade appear to be original to the cap.

If someone could help me ID the maker of this cap I would appreciate it. The cap does not raise any red flags for me but if there is something I'm missing, please let me know.

    Thanks

    Mark

It appears the lower word is, Aeuruppin but it's difficult to make out. Was there a cap maker that used this name in their logo?

                      Under the hood, front.

In this picture you can see where a piece of tape or some other form of paper was added to cover a small tear in the band. The tape is very stiff and it appears it has been in the cap for a long time.
