Karl, since you know the history does that history include the sweatband being removed and replaced? It sure looks like it has from those photos. Do you have any close ups of the SB stitching?

It could be fine but I would be interested in seeing more photos under the sweatband. Unfortunately in my life almost all the Luft generals I have looked at have been put together. They are even rarer that a Heer generals and I approach all with strong caution. So far this one doesn’t have anything that screams bad but a full once over is in order IMO.
