    Luftwaffe Generals Visor ?

    Hello,
I know this is a good cap as I know the Veterans family who owners it. I believe it's a late war Eral. The thing that I find unusual is it has a bevo type eagle rather then the hand embroidered style. Has anyone else ever seen this type of eagle on a Luftwaffe visor cap?..thanks for all comments.

    Karl,
That does not look like a bevo eagle to me.
    Any shots of the interior?

More pics are needed, under the sweatband, sweatband sticting logo and the sewn of the lining. For what I see could be good.
                Cheers

Thanks, but I have no doubt about this one as I know the history of it. My main concern was about the eagle.

Looks like a nice celleon eagle to me.

The thing that through me off is the celleon type look new as the gold bullion show there age.

Karl, since you know the history does that history include the sweatband being removed and replaced? It sure looks like it has from those photos. Do you have any close ups of the SB stitching?

Any original old wartime picture to compare the eagle with?

My experience is that celleon eagles on Luft general's caps (and in general!) do not show age in any way comparable to bullion eagles.
