I have very good reason to believe that this is the maker of my cap. Does anyone have any information on him or other examples of tropical caps made by them?
                Regards,
                Mark

                    Salvatore,
                    I wish there was
I'm trying to find a dated photograph of one in wear, but so far, nothing. I know of four period photos of these - my three and one in the US.
The only marking is the name 'Oram' hand written in the liner. My cap saw service use, judging from the wear pattern and subtle sweat staining...but when?
Any information can be PM'd to me if anyone can shed anything further?
                    Regards,
                    Mark.

Here is a stamped example from my collection.
                      Unknown if period?
I plan a thread soon on it.

                      Thanks for sharing!
