Luftwaffe Overseas - Opinions, please

Hello forum members. I purchased this Luft Overseas cap today at the MAX show, and I'd like to know any opinions you may have about this cap. The cap is a heavy blue / grey wool, with a grey interior. The interior is quite soft (like moleskin material) and is marked Otto Schlientz Uniform Mutzen Straubing 1942 (size 58)

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated !!!

I'm with Gene on this one. The cap itself looks like a repro!! Any other opinions?

Looks like it was made yesterday with the crisp stamp and spotless lining. The shape of the flap looks a little off as well... Repro or unissued those are the 2 choices here... I really can't give it a thumbs up or down but because of those issues, its not something I would want to take a chance on... sorry...Hope other opinions might be more positive! If its a good piece you got yourself a stonemint example, that's for sure! I do like the insignia! So lets wait for other critiques!

PS: I just googled the maker and there is such a company, they also made third Reich postal caps and Heer caps...but a relatively unknown maker... so perhaps a good sign after all?
PPS: I just did a search on WAF and according to the below thread, the repro company Janke has used this hat maker's info in their repro caps... so not a good sign...(go to post 12)

I don't like it either....
Just take a close look at the piping, going from the top to the front of the cap,
one end of the piping should go al the way to the bottom front of the cap,running behind the eagle...

just take a close look how it should be....
