hello, it's supposed to be an NCO cap...and I don't think it's legit. It's got a well toned wreath and the interior is practically new...with some "wear" points.
I think this is a post war water police hat or just an outright fake. Avoid IMO.

Robert, if you want a good NCO cap go to www.ww-2militaria.com , there is a really nice one, and unusual, being possibly of French manufacture. Price might seem high but maybe Peter would entertain an offer...maybe $1,900...
