    Ben,

The sound Roadrunners make can best be describes a two solid glass balls striking each other and sounding like the resulting vibrations of the glass. Road runners just dragged a baby rabbit out of a nest. I tried to save the rabbit, but it was already dead from pearcing of the beak. The desert is a hard place to survive. Everything either wants to eat you or stick you (the many types of cacti and vegitation). However, there is one oasis, just a few feet from the door! And, every creature that can fly, crawl, or jump across the wall wants to stop by and have a drink.

I won't even go into the Javalina, the 100 plus pound wild boars that are here in abundance. Hence, the wall! Oh, did I mention the scorpions, tatantulas, gila monsters and other nasty critters. I have seen more black widow spiders and brown recluse spiders in the last 3 years than in the previous 55 years.

But, we don't have mosquitos! All the bats must have done them in!

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

Nice singel scull. The standard type is also a real beauty. Not often to see these untouched.
          Bob, love the garden!

Here is a new one taken ca.25 meters out from my garden backdoor. We are surrounded by german bunkers and there are lucky enoughh not many houses around here and just 2km to the town
