    TEXTBOOK WSS M43s ?

So who has a "texbook" WSS m43 cap made out of either type of the captured Italian material (the Gabardine or the rough enlisted grade blue-gray wool) that they want to share images of.

There are lots of..dubious ones made from these materials...but also solid citizens too..lets see some good ones..

Here is one I have had for many years. it is the rough blue-green wool described as Italian wool.
It is devoid of any markings.

Interior and tuck down loops are the same HBT material. It is not a silky rayor or a dull cotton. Apparantly it is a blend of synthetic and natural fibres.

                  Robin,

For years I have sought an original single button M-43 with eagle and skull on the front.

                    Bob.

Is that red thing behind the cap your own personal 'road-runner'?

Get out of it Bob, they're fake plastic roadrunners for sure!

                          Bob.
This is how it was when I got it.
It was traceable back to a Hunyadi vet who settled in Canada.
I just HAD to restore the skull.
                          You know how it is.
                          When would I get another?

                            Robin,

No, the red tractor is just there for the 90 tons of mine tailings I have just had delivered for landscaping. Now the old silver mine rock tailings are ground up and when compressed become like concrete. No grass yards in the desert!

And Ben, I can assure you the Roadrunners are authentic. They lurk and try to feed on the Hummingbirds when they are at the feeder. Roadrunners are carnivors. I feed them meat and dogfood.

You should see the 19 buzzards that live in a neighbor's tree. From 6 to almost 9 foot wingspans. they circle the house every evening for an hour to cool their bodies after foraging in the desert all day. They look at my pitbull with very hungry eyes.

                            Bob

Bloody hell Bob, maybe you should move to somewhere safer, like Baghdad!

I always thought roadrunners were friendly creatures, except to wiley coyote of course.. meep, meep!
