Guys, I'd like to ask a question about that. Do you think it's fair to start charging for this service? I've done it for free up until now because I just enjoy bringing these things back to life. But, time is money as they say and this kind of work takes up a lot of time.
    Should you charge...?
    Definitely.
You do superb work and bring 'dead' caps back to life.

The Infantry NCO you did for me is still my favourite cap....

    Steve.

Jeez, Ben, I thought you were charging! Its a skill that few have, and a lot of hats could use your TLC--go for it!

Carlo let me know that I had not commented on his cap--I thought I had (that's what happens when you post too much like I do--you lose track).

Carlo, I love that shape and the bright piping--Bravo & Bellisimo!

(PS--Ben, can you tell the difference between wartime glue and postwar?
I have a cap eagle with repaired prongs in which the glue is creamy-white in appearance--sort of like Elmers which has yet to dry, and I suspect strongly that it was wartime done--any thoughts?)
