    New Allg. Officer's Cap!

    With the help of a friend, I was able to purchase a few items out of an older collection last week. This cap was one of the items. It is in near mint condition. Hope you like it as much as I do.

                          Sorry but for me it looks like an fake cap.
                          I saw many fake allgemeine caps which have a black cloth inside.
                          From the outside it do not look like velvet! Much more like black felt. Sorry!

                          The skull looks like the typical FAKE M1/52 moustache version.

                          For me a fake allgemeine cap.

                            The short-pile "German" velvet used as cap bands will sometimes photograph like this, making it appear like felt. A good close up of the skull will clear up any concerns as to its originality...
