Ron, I could look at your pics of these hats every day and never get tired of them--that Metal-winged DRB is the BEST I have ever seen, and that unissued Leparo Bahnschutz....

PS: The "Perfekt" RB visor is actually a post-war DDR RB visor re-badged with TR insignia. Its and early one, though, and probably dates from the 50's--you should try and restore it.

This is on Oakleaf's site right now, and is misidentified as a railway-water protection police visor. It actually would be for the Hochseefahrdienst, or High Seas Ferry Service. I assume these guys were responsible for the transport of rolling stock by ferry around the Nordsee.

I cannot comment without seeing it in person if real or not, however, the cord twists to the Nordwest, something rarely seen on TR caps. Insignia looks like it could be ok.
