                      Is this an Alteste?

                      I picked up an A-SS General's visor that I know is a repro, but is it an Alteste? It has a black lining, missing sweatshield, no markings, no insignia. The piping is correctly joined though, not the typical 'snake eating it's tail' Alteste method. The peak stiffener was removed hence the sagging at the front and the missing staples. It appears to be an older repro, maybe one of those Hollywood ones? Here's the pics:

                              Yes, it is Alteste. Look at the frame base and the several 'joins' and then another giveaway is the color of the underside of the visor.

                                I agree, Alteste. The front staples seem to be a trademark of the Alteste.
