    Your 207 cap was made by the George Bornschein company in Duesseldorf. It would be interesting to know if the SS cap featured here, or Strassburger's kepi, still retain RZM tags that exhibit the same hersteller number.

        Well again I must say that in hand I had no doubts as to whether or not the cap in question here was original. Anyway, Here are a couple pics of the Allgemeine SS officers visor my buddy bought from the same gentleman, a very nice one also. Please excuse the crappy camera phone pics.

                    Pascal--I think he means the late Roger Steele's old business, "Hollywood Military Hobbies"--HMH. It was located in California in the 1960's and 70's and he sold a lot of (for the time) high-quality fake visors.

                          I explain myself: the logo depicts a lion holding up a shield with a caduceus. The wartime ones are finely embossed and from picture no. 17 it was not easy for my tired sight to distinguish the details. On the other hand, it is a well-known fact that some decades ago were produced many high-quality fake visors. At any rate, I agree that the RZM tag is a forceful authenticity evidence.
                          Considering that this thread has taken a lot of very interesting topics into consideration, I add a few words about GUNDERMANN & KORNACKER HUT-GROSSHANDLUNG und MUTZEN-FABRIK. They were at least in business in Magdeburg since the first world war but they used at that time a very different logo, similar to the stadtwappen
