I've shown this before but I figured I add it to this wonderful thread. This is NSKK Obersturmführer Schönberger from Graz of the NSKK Brigade Luftwaffe, wearing a probably Belgian made LW officer's style visor with NSKK flat wire eagle. The photo itsself is already nice nice but it's is my favorite as not only the photo survived....

Of course, the hat is beautiful in this portrait -- but also a beautiful medal bar to include the Silesian Eagle which I always though was a beautiful medal with an interesting history of its own.

Picture taken in a Paris night club
Would love to get them all down off the shelf and see who the maker of each cap is. Can see 2 crushers, one under the KM officer visor & the other ( tag "791") under the officer sidecap (tag "809"). I am trying to make out the piping colours ???
