I'm not sure about the connection. It seems there were many Heisel engaged in producing /selling hats:
- Heisel Anna (widow), proprietor Karl Allmis, in Heidelberg, Hauptstr. 48, 1943 adressbuch:

The Company was founded in 1882 as a men's hats business by Franz-Josef Heisel with about thirty branches. Since 1920 it operated only in Heidelberg and moved to the above last address in 1932 where it is still in business.
- Heisel Theodor (Hut-Heisel) in Berlin, 1943 adressbuch:

They survived the war at the same address of Schöneberg, Kaiser-Wilhelm-Platz 1, as we can see from the 1951 Official telephone directory for Berlin:

It is impossible to say with certainty whether they were kin or just homonymous.

The Company was founded in 1842 and made/sold fashion furs; men's hats; leather clothing and gloves; military caps and effects.
