Given that the Assmann lining is original, in my humble opinion, and that the interior image is very convincing, I wonder if this visor has been accidentally discussed in depth previously. In the final analysis, it is an alleged SS with some external characteristics that I believe deserve a thorough examination.

Bregenzer Hutmachermeister Otto Matt is a confirmed period maker (just as a curiosity he was also involved in the Aktionskomitee des Alpenlaendischen demokratischen Bundes just after the war). The Company was active after the war (see pag. 8):

and, according to my information, it is still in business.
