Carl Isken--a lot rarer in wartime that postwar (you should view any Wehrmacht hat with this logo as suspect--they were primarily a civil-cap maker). This is one of 2 styles of logos:

This is the leather SB logo--"Isko", which is almost always on their postwar logos (but this is wartime)--

Argo-a very rare (and hi-quality) maker (I believe this is NTZ's):

One of the things that has vexed me all these years is the "Deutsches Leder" ("DL" in a cogwheel) that we see on the sweatbands of wartime hats (and even more so on Herr Janke's current production run). This is the first time I ever saw it ink-stamped on the inside of a George Teufel cap (this is on the e-stand right now). You will note that a "G" surrounds the "DL"--was Teufel the source of the leather sweatbands? Only time will tell:

This one is not mine but yes I do have an Argo. Very nice visors.

Felix Weissbach of Glauchau (as far as I can tell, they made primarily EM/NCO visors:

This is one of the rarer labels, especially so as it is one of the few manufacturers to use color (this is from the Collecter to Collecter website, on a nice LW officers):

This cap is an early pre-waffle pattern white top LW officer's visor (circa 1936-37). "Deutsche Wertarbeit" means "German Craftsmanship" but I don't know whose monogram this is above it.
                        Hi Ralph,
I just saw this post. I have one like yours, except mine has a period replaced waffle top. I've seen this maker mark in a few caps on dealer sites. I have no other information on the maker.

Ralph and Karl--what to you make out the initials to be? I am going to try to figure this out by a process of elimination.

Stonemint, don’t go mentioning an Argo without showing the shear beauty of these. The softest doeskin I ever felt.
