    Has anyone ever seen a private purchased Luftwaffe officers m43 cap with Italian cammo used for the liner?

                          Next to Schirmmütze and helmets the M43 is my favorite type of headgear. I have a couple, a Heer Em/NCO and Luft. both double button. But my favorite is this used single button.

                              The stamps read:
                              1944
                              RF 0/0454/0041
                              (size) 57

                              If anyone recognises the RF number (town etc) I'd be very interested to know!

                                The first part of your RF No# 0/0454/ corresponds with a town called.. "Minden (Westfalen)", that's about the best I can do for you.
