Thats interesting, Derek. You rarely see Bangert visors under their own name--seems like mostly Viro or Deutsche Arbeit.

I believe the purpose of this Deutsche Wert Arbeit is to declare the hats are made by ethnic Germans and not employing Jewish workers. There was a bit of anti-semitism around and it was good business to separate yourself and attempt to look 'more German'; ergo: more patriotic.
