Thank you everyone for all your information and interesting comments regarding other types of caps. My questions have been answered. I will be on the lookout for a nice example to add to my collection. When I find one, I will post it for you guys to see. Just wanted to do a little homework first, to help fill my "toolbox".

Slightly off topic but has anyone got a green Luft M43 for field divisions? I remember seeing one on the forum ages ago but can't find it now. It had a green backed eagle and a padded cockade.

I thought this picture was nice. I have seen a number of female aux. wearing the edelweiss on their caps. Jim
