Oh, if you ever see a Railway hat with this design being sold as 1933-1945 vintage, run, don't walk (it is for the Bundesbahn):

I was looking for that Erel immediate postwar (1945-1948) logo--it was in the "Late-War Erel" thread--I'll also put it here, as it is one of the more important pw logos, especially as it is in celluloid:

I'm trying to clean out my hard-drive today--here are some more postwar labels of wartime makers (some are in celluloid)--
Here is Pekuro's label from 1959--note "DBGM", which is always indicative of postwar manufacture (wartime is DRGM):

Postwar Ludwig Vogele (you will see this on PW forestry hats most often):

Richard Lotze of Leipzig--they apparently continued to make headgear for the DDR after the war (to see a wartime label, check my obscure labels thread.)

Postwar Pekuro on a Bundespost visor--note the velvet stirndruckfrei feature, and it appears that the SB is perforated with "PEKURO":

Postwar CW leather SB on a repro visor--note this particular strindruckfrei feature, which they did not use during the war:

"C. Louis Weber"--this is almost exactly the same as the wartime logo (and note this one is celluloid):

                            Hallo!
Here is a post-war polizei Schellenberg:

                            Visor front effects:

finally, a close-up of the piping:
