In any event, just by the exterior alone, always look for the cockade which uses black cotton thread for the most obvius "red flag." (I myself in almost 30 years of collecting have yet to see an original all-bullion cockade with thread in lieu of bullion).

The Danfoss, thanks to the forum a well known Danish utility company who's logo has been ripped off to be used in this repro cap.

This one is £650 on a well known UK dealers site, I have handled this cap and it has no body to it at all weight wise and it looks like it was made yesterday, which as we all know, is not far from the truth.
