Very nice. I don't recall ever having seen an example piped in this branch colour.

                Thanks, Nick and Carlo!!

Mike, in chasing visor caps for 30 years this color piping eluded me...
I stop collecting actively and bang there it is
                Regards,
                Dave

                        No story.....just some luck!!!

                        Manion's actually

It's been said many times but 'sometimes' you can mine a gem there!!

I'd like to know the guy who kept bidding in to me....the cap went from $1,900.00 to $3,800.00 in a half hour but for a 'one of one' I wasn't inclined to let go

A 'thumbs up' for Jody (new owner of Manion's).....he saw that it was packed up and out to me w/ in a day!
                        Regards,
                        Dave

                          Hi Dave

I took the liberty to edit your phto. I tried to circle an area. Is the bill reattached? or it is an optical illusion.

Hi Juan thanks for your observation and concern! It's actually quite common for these type caps to show a 'transfer' of shape, material etc. after being stored poorly, flattened or otherwise thrown out of shape.

I suspect that it was 'crushed' at some point and because of heat (especially) we see these contact marks.

                            Here's an extreme example!
