I had an army signals officer cap of this make with a Stirndrueckfrei felt cushion. It was a very nice, well made piece. I sold it via a southern California outlet. Your caps are extraordinary. Danke vielmals.

Thanks for the kind words. My most thoughtful critic here calls me: "...a pompous egg head." I prefer prissy fat head, actually. My departed cap with the Zitronengelb piping, though, was wonderful. It had a very high crown. I should not have sold it. Your caps are very pleasing. Thank you for showing them to us. Bravo. viel Sammlerglueck!

Donald, if we could only see the images of everything that passed through your hands over the years. Oh boy would that make a good coffee table book. Well you still have the memories, I hope to form many more myself.

Gaze all seekers of truth on said white SS cap. Thou shall not likely see another any time soon. And one can easily look at a thousand summer Lw caps before one finds such an SS cap. Many warm thanks to our Canadian colleague. Various sites abound in the fakes, to be sure. I had a white tunic (Heereschnitt...) for a surgeon in the LAH (Dr. Raabe) , but I sold it in the early 1970s. many thanks for the above and viel Sammlerglueck.
