Thanks for your look-see. Thanks too for the comments on the covers. I am still trying to complete the collection, but if the time ever comes to liquidate, I will keep you in mind for the "orange" waffenfarbe!

Infantry Visor

The infantry visor with the EREL interior is marked "PRIVAT" in the Grade box - pretty unsusual to find gold rayon (as normally encountered on an "Extra" model), when the Privat caps normally had the pale bluish green colored rayon...

For you guys who have taken a look at the 3 photos of my panzer cap- I am assuming that the writing on the underside of the visor is the officer's name and serial #. Isn't that a rather odd location for that information? I would have thought a better spot would have been behind the sweat band or somewhere else....?
