      Hello Gustav,

thanks for your comment. I still can not put a photo in better quality.
But a little later I'll try to do it.
      Eagle sewn by hand.

      Best regards,

            Hello Sergey,
thank you for more details of the eagle...I see also one single straight stitching around the insignia plus hand stitching.Berolina used a different way of the eagle application, you can see here in this thread on many Berolina caps how the backing material is always folded very close and along the eagle's wings ,let's wait what the others say but for me it stays replaced eagle and good cap,

The stamp is entirely different to the 1941 Schellenberg I own, so maybe they had two different stamps ?

                    Harry,
here 2 stamps from 2 original caps 40 and 41 dated just to compare.See the position of size stamp....see the lining material looks a bit strange on your photo

Two very rare caps Gustav ! Interesting to see the Bromberg and Berlin stamps are so similar.

Thanks for chipping in guys - I noticed these differences including differences in the addresses, so different factories/depots?... here are more pics of the cap taken in different lighting conditions- fire away with your opinions

My feeling is negative, but I am no expert. If genuine, their quality really dropped after 1941 !

Here is my 41 dated cap

                            Sorry Harry,

your cap and the construction of it is nothing like what the soldiers were bring back from North Africa during WW2.

Here is the stamp in one of mine and the missing one in the series of 40, 41 & 42 shown on this thread before you strike the RB numbered examples,

                            Chris
