Luftwaffe Tropical Overseas Cap

    I have compared this to six examples I have and it is an anomaly. Nicely made but I can't say I'm comfortable with the material; it reminds me of what tunics are made of. The lining looks like t-shirt type material. I look at this pic over and over, and compare it to mine but I just can't bless it:

      if I understand correctly the materials of the cap and the lining are not convincing. In conclusion, authentic friezes mounted on a well-made cap perhaps not with the right materials, therefore a cap with doubt.
      The cap seems to me made of thick ribbed quality cotton that I have already observed in other tropical Luftwaffe overseas and also in some Hermann Meyer type caps.
      Only my opinion.
