Kaps General Crusher

This was at the SOS, and almost bought it myself--a Paul Kaps crusher attributed to RKT General Ernst-Günther Baade.

Visor was not leather, but thin vulkanfiber that had been treated like a crusher (numerous striations were in it).

Found one photo with bullion insignia, but I don't think it's the same visor. Acorn pointing in the wrong direction.

Ben, it looked good to me, but I did not try to go under the lining/sweatband.
It sold in the Thies auction 2 years ago:

The logo is wrong, it should be embossed.
The stitching of the sweat diamond is wrong.
The cheese cloth side lining is wrong.
The exterior fabric is crap quality.
The overall shape plus fit and finish is wrong.
The wreath/cockade looks fake to me.

Compare it with a genuine Paul Kaps General.
