WH general's visor by Paul Kaps - Neisse

Wanted to share my only Paul Kaps visor. Unfortunately, no name of the original owner but still a nice piece.

              seam

Certainly a nice visor. Kaps must have meant this one to have a bullion wreath as I have never noticed the cap band seam like here.

Good eye pauke! This is one of the distinct feature found on most Kaps visors .

Very nice. Typical Kaps with the seem on the center band in the front.

Has it got steel springs sewn to the pasteboard?
                      I think I see them.

That would go perfectly with my general officer's greatcoat!

                            For my own education,

Typically the Paul Kaps interiors that I have seen are black and don't have a sweat shield.

Is there any reason why this Kap (lol) has a lighter interior and a sweat shield? Did they make different models of visors like Erel? Was it a Heer vs a Luftwaffe thing?

                            Thx
