Now I think this pattern deserves more investigation before discharging it like a postwar production, see pics of a specimen recently surfaced that I unfortunately missed it.
According to seller it's made by zink

Kriegsmarine belt buckle ?
The only pebbled KM buckle I know of is a Belgium make Reitz style. Here is a photo Marc Verstraete posted many years ago. I couldn't find the thread but I don't think he posted a photo of the reverse. This could just be Reitz style Heer buckle painted gold.

Additional I don't like the condition.
Both the buckles have a used look. But I am missing real traces from wearing.
I've seen SS and HJ buckles with catches that don't incorporate 'feet'.
Also, Reichsmarine buckles don't incorporate 'feet' on the catches, and, like the illustrated buckle are also made of brass.
Obviously the above observations aren't directly relevant to KM buckles, but do point to the fact that buckle catches do exist without 'feet' at the point of attachment.
