Size is standard as it should be 64mm 48 + - microns.I think colleagues scare fossa.But again the buckle out of the ground and lay there for 70 years.It's amazing that she is quite well preserved.I have a lot of buckles in the collection that is out of the ground in excellent condition

Especially look at the head of an eagle.Such, no fakes

I agree with Ric, I am not 100% sure but perhaps the rough zones of the buckle are caused by the years of burial....
