I have had this buckle in my possession for at least 14 years, and have never really known it's authenticity. It appears to be die-stamped steel & there are no makers marks etc. The catch-ring appears to have been soldered or brazed to the buckle face. Even after referring to Robin Lumsden's book Detecting The Fakes, I'm still not sure. Hopefully someone on this forum can assist.
My intention is, if it's genuine to attempt to sell it on eBay, otherwise it can spend another 15 years sitting on my bookshelf.
