When I originaly created this thread it was under the title "Fake versus original RZM 36/42 SS". Then few years later another moderator did the mistake to merge it with another thread named "36/43 SS buckle" which was an absolute non sense to the purpose of both threads. Then few monthes later I finally succeed to have both threads separated again but unfortunately that one remained under "SS 36/43 SS (merged thread)" since it was said to be impossible to bring back the former title. So we let the thread to sleep, more likely preventing its real purpose. But recently I noticed (as I believe all of you did) a change of platform for the forums and more capabilities. So, since I still believe this thread could be of use based on many recent requests, I decided to bring it back and kindly asked Ric if he could now do something to change its title. Unfortunately it was not possible at his level but asked help to Adrian (Ade) who has more possibilities. Job was done in less than an hour. So, my greetings to Ade (and Ric of course).

      JP,

like you I also noticed an increasing request to detect original SS 36/42 buckles from fake ones, so I believe that your precious research could be pinned to help all the members potentially requesting : what about ?

Would be a nice idea. Let me finish the update and you could do whatever pleases. Members NEED to learn by themselves!
